A Conversation on Public Service and Columbus City Council

One of the most valuable aspects of running for Columbus City Council has been the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations about leadership, governance, and the future of our city. Recently, I had the chance to sit down and discuss the path to public service, what it takes to step into this role, and the impact we can have when we come together to build a stronger Columbus.

I was featured on the Confluence Cast podcast, where we explored what it means to apply/run for City Council—how to get there, the challenges candidates face, and the responsibility of representing all Columbus residents. It was a great discussion about civic engagement, leadership, and why diverse voices matter in shaping our city’s future.

As I continue on this journey, I remain committed to transparent leadership, inclusive governance, and community-driven solutions. Columbus is evolving, and with that evolution comes the need for leaders who listen, collaborate, and advocate for the best interests of every district and every resident.

I’d love to hear your thoughts—what do you think are the most pressing issues facing Columbus today? Let’s continue the conversation and work together for a stronger, more connected city.

Join the movement, stay engaged, and let’s shape the future of Columbus—together.
